Pickard Electricals Ltd carried out the electrical refurbishment work to the Country Store at Arable Farm Supplies, Sawmill Industrial Estate, Alnwick in late 2008.

The Lighting scheme was designed by Park Electrical Lighting Design.

The Installation works involved the new Lighting system, additional power circuits, data installation network and alterations to the Mains Distribution.

Barter Books in the old Alnwick Railway Station one of the largest second hand book shops in Europe has been fully rewired by Pickard Electricals Ltd. The contract lasted four months from April to July 2008 and was carried whilst allowing Barter Books to continue trading without the need to shut.

A new supply authority supply and Section Board were installed along with Distribution Boards located throughout the property. The lighting, small power, electric heating and Data networks were installed to give better power distribution and internet  / data access for staff and customers.

The new Cafe to the rear of the shop opened in July serving refreshments and snacks. 

During 2008 Pickard Electricals Ltd carried out the electrical services to Lion Mews a development of Luxury apartments located near to Alnwick Town centre.

The development was carried out by Lion Homes and consists of eight two bedroom apartments. As well as the electrical installations within the Apartments the communal and external area's were wired with low energy lighting and a Fire Alarm system.

The prestigious development of Cawledge Business Park on the South of Alnwick by The Northumberland Estates saw the construction of twelve Exclusive detached office suites.

Pickard Electricals Ltd sub-contracted the electrical services from CLS electrical from Chester - le - street in late 2007. The installations included Lighting, power, fire alarms and heating controls wiring.

In the summer of 2007 Pickard Electricals Ltd carried out the electrical installation works at SAFS (Site and Field Services) at North Seaton Industrial Estate, Ashington on behalf of Northern Structures of Amble.

The new steele frame building consists of an office suite, fabrication area and testing facility for SAFS bespoke engineering products.

The Electrical Installations comprised of Lighting (office, external & workshop) designed by Park Electrical. Power outlets 110v, 230v and 415v.Data Comms installation. Mains distribution and sub-mains. Fire and Security Alarms in conjunction with Cortech Fire & Security Ltd of Ashington.
